The First Symposium of the Association of Psychiatrists of the Republic of Srpska was held on October 2–3, 2026, in Banja Luka, with the support of Đaković d.o.o.
This professional event brought together psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals. It provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experience, and discuss modern approaches in psychiatry.

SigmaStim ECT at the University Clinical Centre of the Republic of Srpska
The introduction of modern ECT technology in Bosnia and Herzegovina already has practical importance for clinical practice.
In April 2026, the Psychiatry Clinic of the University Clinical Centre of the Republic of Srpska began using electroconvulsive therapy with a new Sigma system. According to information from the University Clinical Centre, the therapy is performed under anesthesia and professional supervision, with a multidisciplinary approach and prior training of medical staff.
